Kurt Uebersax has been working in feature film, television, commercial, and live event production for 30 years. As a director, producer, and production manager he has delivered hundreds of hours of programming across all major distribution platforms. Kurt is a 25-year member of the Directors Guild of America (DGA) and a 15-year member of Producers Guild of America (PGA).

In 2012, Kurt was the executive producer on the independent feature film Elf-Man, which is distributed by Lionsgate (through acquisition of Anchor Bay/Starz), and Vision Films (streaming platforms). That year Elf-Man became the number one independent Christmas film of December in Redbox kiosks nationwide. For nine seasons (2001-2009) Kurt was a freelance producer/director for America’s Most Wanted (FOX), producing and directing both re-enactments and on-location segments with host John Walsh.

Kurt was mentored by acclaimed directors Wes Craven (Music of the Heart), Sam Raimi (The Gift) and their respective production teams as part of his apprenticeship program with the Directors Guild of America Assistant Director/Producer Training Program. As one of five graduates in his class (1998-2000), Kurt worked as assigned on feature films, TV shows, pilots and commercial content in New York City, learning the studio and network system of production and distribution.

Other notable credits include films Minority Report (Dreamworks), On The Basis of Sex (Focus Features), Red (Magnolia Pictures), Thank You For Smoking (FOX Searchlight), In The Loop (BBC Films), television shows Law & Order: SVU (NBC), The Wire (HBO), and The West Wing (NBC). Prior to concentrating on single-camera film, Kurt was a technician in broadcast and sports television, covering all major domestic sport leagues as well as over two years on the World Wrestling Federation (now WWE) TV tour (USA Network).

Danielle Weinberg

Danielle Weinberg won The Script Lab's 2024 Free Screenplay Contest with her feature screenplay Coastal Watch, which placed first out of more than 15,000 scripts. She recently sold an original romcom feature script, and her play Murder, Party of Ten was featured in the 2023 New Works Festival of the Long Beach Shakespeare Company. Danielle is an active member of the Independent Writers’ Caucus (IWC), and two of her feature screenplays were named to the Best of the IWC List, in 2024 and 2025.

 

Danielle’s directorial debut is the sci-fi short film Invasion ’53, starring Jeffrey Combs. On its festival run now, the movie had its world premiere at the Oscar-qualifying Cinequest Film Festival and has been selected by over twenty festivals, including the 2025 Comic-Con International Independent Film Festival in San Diego. To date, Invasion ‘53 has won Best Short Film at the Seattle Worldcon 2025 Film Festival, Best Sci-Fi Comedy at the ConGregate Film Festival, and Best Screenplay, Best Actor, and Best Set Design at the First Contact Sci-Fi and Fantasy Film Festival.

A graduate of the Writing Seminars at the Johns Hopkins University, Danielle earned an M.F.A. in Feature Film Screenwriting from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. She worked in development for Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci (Star Trek, Sleepy Hollow), Orlando Jones and Legion of Creatives. Danielle's influences include Steve Martin, Mel Brooks, and Steven Spielberg.

Cindy Miller produced the feature documentary based on the career of the legendary Filmmaker John Waters, Divine Trash (Fox Winstar). Divine Trash won the Filmmakers Trophy at the 1998 Sundance Film Festival. That win and subsequent distribution deal led to a sequel focusing on John Water’s later career, In Bad Taste (Bravo/IFC Cable), which Cindy also produced on commission from IFC/Bravo networks. 

​

Following those projects, Cindy began a long relationship with America’s Most Wanted (FOX), focusing in the re-enactment division of the company, producing and production managing dozens of recreation segments over 12 seasons from 1998 - 2009. Other notable credits are the feature film  Jamesy Boy (Phase4), and the television shows Split Screen (IFC Cable), and Mastermind (CourtTV). Between long form projects, Cindy has become the Mid-Atlantic’s go-to producer/production supervisor for national and regional commercial productions, and has worked with all of the major advertising agencies and production companies in this space.

Cindy also has extensive film festival experience. She served as the festival producer for the AFI SilverDocs Film Festival from 2006-2009, and from 2018-2022 Cindy was the festival producer for the Annapolis Film Festival.
